Fat Loss Killers You Should Avoid

Anyone who has jumped on the latest crash diet knows one thing to be true – being ultra-strict disallowing yourself food in order to shed those extra pounds does not work.  The critical flaw is that you are completely at the mercy of your own will power to keep things going.

That’s not to say that the situation is hopeless and you should eat all of the junk food you want!  There are some foods that are huge no-no’s that are killing your fat loss potential.  Here are a couple culprits.

Fat Loss Killer #1 – Soda!

As much as we love the taste, sodas have absolutely no other redeeming qualities.  They contain tons of sugar that usually does not get used by your body – resulting in fat build up.  They also contain a host of harmful chemicals that literally attack your body, such as wood resin (yes, it’s in some sodas).

Making the switch from soda to water is enough to help most people lose several pounds!  You can also drink more real fruit juices and tea when you feel the need for something with flavor.  Tea will also help you with the caffeine cravings that are inevitable when you curt your soda intake.

Fat Loss Killer #2 – “Diet” Foods

There are “diet” versions of nearly every packaged snack and drink in the grocery store – and it’s all a scam!  The food industry has spent billions of dollars to convince the public that “diet” products will help people lose weight.  People are quick to jump on the chance to take the bait so that they feel like they are doing something to be healthier

The problem is that the “diet” version of your favorite snack or drink may actually be worse for your body than the original product.  SlendHer will go into more detail about the problems with “diet” foods in a later post.  Just know that the things they do to the food to make it “diet” can cause other serious health issues for you.  Like sodas, it is best if you cut them out of your lifestyle completely.
