10 Reasons Why You Need to Exercise
A smile is a must!

The beautiful thing about exercising is that there are so many good reasons to do it that have nothing to do with looking in the mirror all the time. Heck, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to look and feel good – that’s why most of us do it, right? But there are other reasons to get your workout on!

Here is a list of 10 of the top reasons to exercise. Pull out this list and read it when you need a reminder of why exactly exercise is worth your time…

1.  To Prevent Disease and Age Slower

Exercise has been proven to reduce the risk of just about every single health problem known, from stroke to heart disease to cancer and osteoporosis. Exercise is also a great defence against type 2 diabetes, which is one of the most widely growing diseases of our time. Also, it is one of the most effective ways to fight aging. When you age, your body loses muscle and bone; however the loss of both are drastically reduced with regular exercise. On top of this it also helps reduce inflammation, which is very important to help decrease chances of injuries or getting a cold.

2.  To Look Great

Many of us women want to look good. Exercising on a regular basis will help to firm your body, improve posture and make your skin glow. Looking your best is a wonderful result of consistent exercise.

3.  To Lose Fat

If you want to have a healthier, toned body, then exercise is key. Keeping the body active helps to burn fat and maintain the results for the long term. Be sure to find a programme that is right for you so that you will keep at it regularly for better results.

4.  To Increase Energy

Anyone who exercises regularly will tell you that they are more energetic. The more you keep your body active, the more energised your body feels. This goes hand in hand with a good solid nutrition plan to boost your energy.

5.  To Sleep Better

With the boost in energy levels it helps to wear you out come the evening when you wind down from the day. Your muscles have been worked which should allow for a better sleep.

6. To Relieve Aches and Pains

Most of the time the best thing you can do to reduce aches and pains is exercise. Doing the right type of exercise will help to strengthen the muscles which in return will rid those pesky aches. Be sure to listen to your body and do the movements that feel good.

7. To Boost Your Mood

Once you get into a consistent pattern with exercising you start to increase the feel good factor. When this is at a higher level your mood is boosted which helps with lowering depression and negative thoughts to changing habits for the positive.

8. To Enjoy Life

When you have an active body you feel better, when you feel better you want to do more in life. Whatever it is you love to do it becomes more enjoyable when you have a healthier body.

9. To Reduce Sick Days

Keeping active with a good nutrition plan will help to keep your body fit and healthy. When this becomes consistent it will help to reduce colds and infections which are common in the workplace. No more calling in sick!

10. Most of All…a Big Boost of Confidence

Having confidence is a massive motivator. When you start to see and feel changes from exercising you want to continue with the programme. You become fitter, healthier and love your body more which in return makes your confidence skyrocket.
